Possible NXT entrants in WWE Royal Rumble reveale

WWE’s expedition is already in Texas, where tomorrow’s Royal Rumble, one of the most beloved PLE’s by fans, will take place. 30 male and 30 female wrestlers will face each other in the traditional battle royal with one goal in mind: to get their direct pass to WrestleMania 39, where they can fight for the world championship of their choice.

As for the women’s Royal Rumble match, it is worth remembering that its first edition took place in 2018, and the first superstar to win was Asuka. Already in that edition, and due to the limited women’s roster of the company’s main shows, the company opted to incorporate legends of the company, such as Michelle McCool, and some NXT talents into the battle.

Since then, every year, several female wrestlers from the developmental brand have appeared in the traditional bout, such as Xia Li, Io Shirai (IYO SKY) or Kacy Catanzaro (Katana Chance). However, last year the company opted not to feature this talent, something that may not be repeated in the 2023 edition.

According to PWInsider, three NXT superstars are currently in San Antonio, where the event will take place tomorrow. They are Zoey Stark, Indi Hartwell and the brand’s Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. It should be noted that these are three recurring women on WWE NXT programming.

Roxanne Perez currently has an intense rivalry with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne (Toxic Attraction).

Who she will face in a triple threat at the brand’s next PLE, Vengeance Day. However, their rivals have remained close, so, a priori, the bout will be a “2 vs. 1” disadvantage fight.

As for Indi Hartwell, she has been in a bit of a rivalry with Tiffany Stratton, who recently made her return to the brand. Meanwhile, Zoey Stark is currently without a rivalry or storyline. The wrestler performed a turn heel on her former tag team partner Nikkita Lyons, showing a new, more violent side. She has recently competed in WWE Main Event.

In addition to these, PWInsider has also reported on the presence of Natalya in San Antonio, who remains sidelined due to a broken nose suffered in November last year. The media outlet notes that the wrestler may be in town for promotional work, although we can’t rule out a possible appearance at the battle royal, despite rumours to the contrary.
