Elton John to headline Glastonbury Festival

British singer Elton John will headline the Glastonbury festival on 25 June 2023. Final UK concert, the organisers of the famous British music event announced on Friday.

“We are incredibly excited to announce that the one and only Elton John will headline. The festival on June 25 at Glastonbury “for what will be the last UK concert of his final tour”, the festival tweete.

“We will close the festival by marking this great moment in both our history with an unforgettable farewell,” she added.

The British megastar will finish his farewell world tour called “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” in early July in Europe.

Elton John is the first artist officially confirmed to play at next year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The legendary artist will headline the Pyramid Stage on the closing night of the event on Sunday 25 June. It will mark the final UK date of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which has had more than 300 dates over several years.

Next year’s Glastonbury will take place from 21-25 June 2023. The full line-up is expecte to be reveale early next year and tickets sold out in about an hour last month.
