The RUT Account is a BancoEstado debit/visa card that already has more than 14 million users. It is also one of the most requested when it comes to obtaining a bonus or subsidies. Since it is where a large part of the monthly payments are paid.
What is the maximum amount I can have in my RUT Account?
Currently the card has a balance limit of $5,000,000 and a monthly credit limit of $4,000,000 pesos.

How do I apply for it?
You can apply for the RUT Account through the following LINK. You will have to fill in. A form with your personal information and finally you will be able to pick up your card at a selecte branch.
What are the requirements?
If you wish to obtain the card, you must meet the following requirements:
Be Chilean or foreigner with a valid National Identity Card.
You must have a valid National Identity Card of your father, mother or guardian if you are a minor.

Not have another RUT Account in force.
Women must be over 12 years old, and men must be over 14 years old.
Minors must be accompanie by their legal representative (father, mother or other person duly registered in the Civil Registry) to sign the contract.

The limit for withdrawals from CajaVecina and Cajero Automático is $200,000 per day and they are adde together.
The limit for withdrawals from BancoEstado Express is $1,500,000 per day.
The limit for use of RedCompra, WebPay and international purchases is $400,000 per day and are adde together.
Please note that First Transfers to new recipients are cappe at $100,000 within the first 24 hours of enrollment.
The limit to transfer by Internet or App to other account holders after 24 hours from the first transfer is $1,000,000.
The limit to transfer by Caja Vecina to another account of the same account holder is $200,000.
The limit to transfer by Caja Vecina to another BancoEstado account holder is $200,000.
