Disney Domination is supposedly a platform fighting game in the style of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and MultiVersus, but with characters from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Fox. The first details of the game were leaked in March. Now Insider Gaming is reporting new unverified information accompanie by photos apparently taken of a TV or monitor where the game was being teste.

Melee player Juan Manuel ‘Hungrybox’ DeBiedma). That leak was accompanied by images of an alleged story mode that reveale the presence of Thanos, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and an evil Buzz Lightyear.

Other characters such as Woody and Stewie Griffin from Family Guy were also mentioned in the captions. Hungrybox added a number of other characters to the list in their video: Mulan, Aladdin, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor, Black Panther, Gamora and Star Lord, among others. Those pictures also showed that there would be CPU-controlled characters and that it was planned for a June 2024 release.

Recalling that this information has not been verifie by any media, nor by the publishers and developers involved, let’s move on to the leak that occurred on Monday 15 May on the CrazyHand subreddit, dedicated to the competitive Super Smash Bros. scene. There they say that the title is being develope by Square Enix, who already collaborated with Disney on the Kingdom Hearts saga; the Japanese company developing the title since 2018 with a AAA or blockbuster budget.

At launch there would be 55 characters, 60 stages, 70 items and a “massive” single-player campaign. There will also be “many, many” online modes (12-player battles, Disney Dominion, Missions and more). There will be features such as integrated voice chat and a waiting area or hub called “The Lounge”, where players will be able to talk, post art, design alternative character skins, design stages and create music for the game.
